SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES WITH ROWGIRLS

Why become a sponsor?

By donating or sponsoring our dynamic crew you will not only benefit from all the media coverage but you will also be associating with an adventure of a lifetime that promotes courage through human endeavour in a unique event. There are many ways you can help the Rowgirls achieve their goals, including sponsorship, contributions and equipment donation.

Sponsor Branding Exposure

A range of branding opportunities including naming the whole challenge with prime branding rights to the challenge for the Major Platinum Sponsor. Sponsors branding opportunities on The Latest are outlined below.

SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS

Platinum, Gold & Silver Donors

Ideal opportunities for corporate sponsors with the benefits of full association with the Rowgirls. High profile packages including latest, clothing and website branding; exposure in all media activities; features and book writing opportunities; promotional and lecturing involvement.

Diamond Donors

These are smaller but particularly valuable contributions that we hope to receive from family, friends, and local businesses and are suited for fundraising groups and schools. Donors may wish to pledge funds for a particular piece of equipment from our essential items list.

SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS

Team clothing, equipment and merchandise present excellent opportunities for brand exposure, e.g. the oars and headwear are highly sought after branding positions on The Latest. Exposure will be gained before, during and after the race, at functions, press calls, at launch events and road shows.

Only around 150 people have rowed an Challenge, from that figure only 17women have ever attempted an ocean row.

All sponsors and donors will make the Atlantic crossing with Rowgirls as their names are acknowledged on The Latest. All contributions of money, equipment and support will also be acknowledged and listed in the press packs and other updated literature as well as on our website: www.rowgirls.com

Use of the team and latest for corporate advertising, publicity and marketing (internally and externally) including presentations, after-dinner speakers and book writing opportunities.

Equipment & Operational Support

Many other forms of support are needed such as donations to purchase the equipment that the team require to make the crossing safely. This includes navigational, IT and electronics equipment, as well as other essential items such as life jackets, clothing, food and oars.

We also require operational support to cover the costs for training, transport and shipping for the team and their equipment and accommodation for the support team. We’ve listed some essential items that are required, to give an idea of the fun raising task we have to achieve before the team can set off in November 2005.
